Applications of BBa_K216012

Used with part K216013 (TNT-receptor and signal transduction protein), this is designed to produce a visible response (EYFP) and also produce a TNT-degrading enzyme (PETN reductase) when TNT is present. See the individual part pages for further information.

Initial testing: (Edinburgh iGEM 2009) This part definitely produces YFP and shows strong fluorescence. At the time of writing, we have not been able to test either inducibility with TNT, or activity in degrading explosives, as our permit to work with explosives has not come through yet.
